Plan of Salvacion

Audio Message In English

MANY PEOPLE ASK: WHAT IS THE PLAN OF SALVATION?

Answer:

Salvation means deliverance. Religions throughout the world expect a transformation in people's lives when they embrace a particular faith. However, we are not speaking merely about religion; we are speaking about the personal and intimate relationship we should have with our Lord Jesus Christ.

The Bible makes it very clear that there is only one Plan of Salvation, and it is wonderfully simple:

  1. Repent of your sins, turning away from wrongdoing and seeking to live a life that honors God.
  2. Believe and accept that Jesus Christ was born, died, and rose again for us, placing your faith in Him as your Lord and Savior.

Here we will examine several important questions and their biblical answers to understand why accepting this Plan of Salvation can transform your life on earth and, most importantly, determine your eternal destiny.

WHY SHOULD WE ACCEPT THE PLAN OF SALVATION?

The reason we must accept God's Plan of Salvation is simple: we must recognize that we are sinners who need repentance and transformation.

When we sincerely turn to Jesus Christ, we can experience the peace that only He can give. Those who have truly placed their faith in Him understand the wonderful peace that comes from knowing the Lord.

The Bible declares that all humanity has sinned.

Ecclesiastes 7:20

Scripture teaches that there is no righteous person on earth who always does good and never sins.

Romans 3:22–24

The righteousness of God comes through faith in Jesus Christ to all who believe. There is no distinction among humanity, because everyone has sinned and fallen short of God's glory. Yet believers are justified freely by His grace through the redemption found in Christ Jesus.

1 John 1:5–10 — God Is Light.

The Apostle John teaches that God is light and that there is no darkness in Him.

If we claim to have fellowship with God while continuing to walk in darkness, we do not practice the truth. However, when we walk in His light, we enjoy fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ cleanses us from sin.

John also warns that if we claim to be without sin, we deceive ourselves. But when we confess our sins, God is faithful and just to forgive us and cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

If we claim that we have never sinned, we contradict God's Word.

Remember that sin is rebellion against God. Sin harms us, but even more importantly, it dishonors our Creator.

The Bible also teaches that because God is holy and righteous, He cannot simply overlook sin or leave it unpunished.

The consequence of sin is death and eternal separation from God.

Romans 6:23

The Apostle Paul explains that sin brings death, but God offers eternal life as a free gift through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Revelation 20:11–15 — The Great White Throne Judgment.

The Apostle John describes a great white throne and the One seated upon it.

Before this throne stand the dead, both great and small. Books are opened, including the Book of Life, and the dead are judged according to what is recorded concerning their deeds.

The sea, death, and Hades surrender the dead, and each person is judged. Death and Hades are then cast into the lake of fire, which is called the second death.

Anyone whose name is not found written in the Book of Life is cast into the lake of fire.

Without God's Plan of Salvation, eternal separation from Him is the destiny of sinful humanity.

HOW CAN WE ACCEPT THE PLAN OF SALVATION?

In the Book of Acts, the Apostle Paul and Silas encountered a jailer who asked one of the most important questions anyone can ask:

What must I do to be saved?

Their answer was simple: believe in the Lord Jesus Christ.

Acts 16:30–31

The jailer brought Paul and Silas out and asked what he needed to do to receive salvation. They instructed him to believe in the Lord Jesus Christ and told him that salvation was available to him and his household.

Here we discover that salvation is received through faith in Jesus Christ.

We cannot earn salvation through our own efforts. We must receive God's gift by faith, trusting completely in Jesus as our Savior.

John 14:6–12

Jesus teaches that He alone is the way to the Father, the truth, and the life.

He explains to His disciples that knowing Him means knowing the Father. When Philip asks Jesus to show them the Father, Jesus reveals the profound unity between Himself and the Father.

Jesus also teaches that His words and works demonstrate the Father's presence in Him and encourages His followers to believe.

Acts 4:12

The Apostle Peter declares that salvation is found in no one else, because God has given humanity no other name through which we can be saved.

Jesus Christ is the only Savior, and salvation is found in Him alone.

THIS IS GOD'S PLAN OF SALVATION

John 3:16–19

This passage reveals the extraordinary love of God for humanity.

God loved the world so deeply that He gave His only begotten Son so that everyone who believes in Him would not perish but receive everlasting life.

Jesus was not sent into the world to condemn it, but so that the world might be saved through Him.

Those who believe in Christ are not condemned. Those who reject Him remain under condemnation because they have not believed in the name of God's only begotten Son.

Jesus also explains that light has come into the world, but people loved darkness rather than light because their deeds were evil.

Ephesians 2:8–10

The Apostle Paul teaches that salvation is received by God's grace through faith.

It is not something we accomplish through our own efforts. Salvation is God's gift, not a reward for human works, so no one can boast.

We are God's workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works that God prepared for us to walk in.

Salvation is not earned through good works; rather, good works are the fruit of a life transformed by God's grace.

WHAT DOES GOD'S PLAN OF SALVATION PROVIDE?

In God's Plan of Salvation, only God can provide the deliverance we need.

We are incapable of saving ourselves because of our sinful nature and desires.

God came into the world in the person of Jesus Christ to accomplish what humanity could never accomplish on its own.

Through His sacrifice, Jesus fulfilled the requirements for the forgiveness of sins, making repeated animal sacrifices unnecessary.

John 1:1–14

The Gospel of John begins by revealing that the Word existed from the beginning, was with God, and was God.

Everything that was created came into existence through Him.

In Him was life, and that life was the light of humanity. The light shines in darkness, and darkness cannot overcome it.

John the Baptist was sent by God to bear witness to the true Light so that people might believe.

The true Light came into the world, yet the world did not recognize Him.

He came to His own, but many did not receive Him.

However, those who received Him and believed in His name were given the right to become children of God.

This new birth does not come through human ancestry or human will, but through God.

Finally, John declares that the eternal Word became flesh and lived among humanity, revealing divine glory, grace, and truth.

Jesus lived a sinless life and willingly offered Himself as the perfect sacrifice for our sins.

2 Corinthians 5:21

God made Christ, who had never sinned, to be the sacrifice for our sin so that through Him we might receive the righteousness of God.

Hebrews 4:15

Jesus is our compassionate High Priest. He understands human weakness because He experienced temptation as we do, yet He remained completely without sin.

1 John 3:5

Jesus Christ appeared to take away our sins, and there is no sin in Him.

Under the Old Covenant, animal sacrifices were offered, and blood was shed as part of the sacrificial system established for Israel.

Lambs and other animals were presented at the Tabernacle and later at the Temple in Jerusalem.

However, Jesus Christ offered Himself as the perfect and final sacrifice.

He shed His own blood to provide redemption and eternal life through God's grace.

His sacrifice fulfilled what the Old Covenant sacrifices pointed toward.

Isaiah 1:11–13

Through the prophet Isaiah, God rebukes the people for offering sacrifices and observing religious ceremonies while continuing in disobedience.

God rejects empty offerings, meaningless incense, and solemn assemblies corrupted by unrighteousness.

This passage reminds us that God desires genuine repentance and obedience, not outward religious ceremonies without sincere devotion.

1 Corinthians 15:1–4

The Apostle Paul reminds believers of the Gospel he preached and that they received.

He explains that this Gospel is the foundation of their faith and salvation.

Paul then presents the central message of Christianity:

Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, was buried, and rose again on the third day according to the Scriptures.

The death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ are the foundation of the Gospel.

Colossians 1:20–23

Through the blood Jesus shed on the cross, God accomplished reconciliation.

Those who were once separated from Him and hostile in their minds because of evil works can now be reconciled through Christ's death.

Through this reconciliation, believers may be presented before God as holy and blameless.

Paul encourages Christians to remain grounded and steadfast in the faith, without moving away from the hope of the Gospel.

Jesus Christ is God, and His sacrifice has infinite and eternal value.

His death on the cross provided the complete and sufficient sacrifice for the sins of humanity.

His resurrection from the dead demonstrated His victory over sin and death and confirmed the power of His saving work.

Through Him, salvation is now offered to all who believe.

Hebrews 10:10

We are sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ, a sacrifice made once and for all.

1 John 2:2

Jesus Christ is the atoning sacrifice for our sins, and His sacrifice is sufficient not only for our sins but also for those of the whole world.

THIS IS GOD'S BEAUTIFUL PLAN OF SALVATION — WILL YOU RECEIVE IT?

If you are willing to accept God's Plan of Salvation, place your faith in Jesus Christ as your Savior.

Turn away from a life of sin and love God with all your heart, mind, and soul through Jesus Christ.

Never forget the supreme sacrifice He made for us so that we might be saved.

Remember that Jesus did not have to endure the suffering He experienced, yet He willingly gave Himself because of His great love for humanity.

He left the glory of heaven and entered our world, experiencing the difficulties, suffering, and limitations of human life.

After His baptism, Jesus went into the wilderness, where He fasted and was tempted.

During His earthly ministry, He experienced hunger, thirst, exhaustion, and the hardships of living in this world.

These experiences remind us that Jesus Christ was truly human while remaining fully divine.

He understands our weaknesses, our suffering, and our struggles.

Yet He remained without sin.

His love for humanity was so great that He willingly endured the cross to accomplish our redemption.

If you accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, God's Word promises forgiveness of sins and eternal life through Him.

There is no more important decision you can make than placing your faith in Jesus Christ.

Do not postpone this decision.

Put your faith in Jesus Christ as your Savior today!

We should encourage one another toward love and good works, continue gathering together, and strengthen each other as we await the coming of the Lord.

We cannot purchase it, earn it through religious rituals, or obtain it through our own good works.

Jesus Christ has already accomplished the work necessary for our redemption through His death and resurrection.

Our response is to repent, believe in Him, and receive Him as Lord and Savior.

A genuine faith in Jesus Christ brings forgiveness, reconciliation with God, and the beginning of a transformed life.

The greatest gift God offers humanity is eternal life through His Son, Jesus Christ.
